How to prepare Custard Cream Crackers

Custard Cream Crackers (triple c) also called Custard Slices are my favourite fast food for a snack time.
I love it so much I can't go a month without taking it. I guess am getting addicted to it!
I call it Custard Cream Crackers because it is a Creamy Crackers made with Custard!

My Sis and I prepared it today after a long hard day of work and I decided to share the recipe with you so you can try it out and let me know what you think of it.
I am also thinking of serving it on my Birthday to those who will love to try it out.

The ingredients needed are simple so anyone can afford to prepare it.

To prepare the custard slices, you will need the following:
1 cup of sugar
125 ml custard powder
1 liter milk
80ml butter
20 ml vanilla essence
1 cup icing sugar
1 tablespoon boiling water
Lemon juice.
And 1 microwave! (If you use an oven fine, but the heat from the oven may ruin it! Triple C needs low heat).

I wrote down the measurement I use when I need to make a reasonable quantity. You can use the quantity of each ingredient the way you want it.

When you have gotten all the ingredients ready. You can go ahead and prepare your Triple C.

First of all, mix the sugar and custard powder.
Then add 1 liter of milk and mix well.
Next, add 80ml butter and 20 ml vanilla essence.
After that you can now microwave the paste you just made for 10 minutes on high.
You have to whisk the mixture every 2 minutes with a metal whisk.
If the Custard form patterns when you whisk it, then its time to put it down.
Next, you line a separate bowl with Cream Crackers. Then pour the Custard mixture over the Cream Crackers and add another layer of Cream Crackers on the Custard mixture (You can repeat this pouring and adding layers as much as you want depending on the quantity).
After that, you let it cool.

Then mix 1 cup of icing sugar with 1 tablespoon boiling water and some lemon juice.
Next, you spread the icing mixture over the custard crackers and let it set.

Viola!!!
Your custard cream crackers is ready.

If yours look anything like this picture then you did great. If it looks different, don't freak out. Just enjoy it anyway.

Yummy, I can't wait to dive into mine!

Enjoy and share your taste experience when you try it out.
