Home Remedies For Dandruff

Dandruff is a common scalp condition in which small pieces of dry skin flake fall off of the scalp. If you have dark hair or you're wearing dark colors, you may notice the flakes in your hair or on your shoulders. Sometimes it can look or feel irritating.

Here are the simple home remedies to get rid of dandruff using natural ingredients:

1. Curd:

Take a small amount of yogurt or curd. Leave it in the open for a day or two for fermentation. Beat the curd and spread it on your scalp and hair and leave it on for an hour. Rinse it completely with a mild shampoo.

2. Fenugreek (Methi) Pack:

Soak fenugreek seeds in water all night. Make a paste and apply on scalp and hair. Leave it on for about an hour. Wash hair with a mild shampoo. Do this 3-4 times a week for best results.

3. Henna:

Take the henna powder in a bowl. Keep apart for 8-10 hours. Now, apply henna pack to the scalp. Leave it for 1 to 2 hours. Rinse it off thoroughly with a mild shampoo. Repeat it once a week.

4. Fuller (Multani Mitti) Hair Pack:

The cooling effect of fuller earth removes excess oil and fights irritation from the scalp. Make a paste of Multani mitti and water. Apply it on hair and scalp. Leave on for 20 minutes and wash off with water.

5. Neem Juice:

Grind neem leaves to make a thick paste. Apply it to the scalp and leave it for 10 minutes then wash off with water. Neem leaves can also be boiled in water and that water can be used for washing hair.

6. Orange Peel Pack:

Make a paste of orange peel. Apply it to the scalp. Leave it for half an hour and wash off with a shampoo. Repeat this procedure 2-3 times a week.

7. Lemon and Coconut Oil Massage:

Heat 2 tablespoons of coconut oil and mix equal amount of lemon juice. Massage gently into your scalp for 20 minutes and then wash off with a mild shampoo. Repeat this 3-4 times a week.

I am very sure one of these will definitely work for you. What do you think?
